Skagen's club plays regional divisions from spring to autumn on the town ground. Entry is a few kroner or nothing, and the wind decides the game.

The west coast beaches get reliable onshore wind, and schools in and around Skagen rent gear and teach beginners from spring through autumn.

From June to August the marina fills with yachts crossing the Skagerrak and Kattegat, and Skagen is a standard waypoint on the summer racing circuit.

The North Sea Cycle Route runs through town, and the flat plantation tracks and coast roads make for easy day rides from April to October.
