The largest and oldest of Bornholm's four round churches, built around 1150 on a rise about 500 m north of Østerlars village, with medieval frescoes and several levels open to visitors. Daily 9:00-17:00 for tourists; 30 kr adults, less for young people.

Otto Bruuns Plads 1, above Gudhjem on the north coast: Bornholm-related art from the Golden Age to now, plus ceramics and glass. A 250 kr clip card covers six island attractions and museums if you are staying a few days.

Christiansøfarten has sailed from Gudhjem since 1959, with daily departures in season to the fortified islet of Christiansø. Evening sailings from 150 kr plus a 10 kr fuel surcharge, and the guided walk on the island takes about an hour.

Grønningen 30 in Aakirkeby: geology and Baltic wildlife centre with aquariums, live animals and outdoor enclosures, open daily 10:00-17:00. The season runs 1 April to 31 October, with daily opening from mid-June to mid-September.

Stangevej 1 at Østerlars: a working medieval settlement with archery, crafts, animals and a manor house, open Monday to Saturday 11:00-15:00 and closed Sunday. The same organisation runs the guided tours at Hammershus.
