Bornholm's nightlife is a summer arrangement and nothing else: from late spring to early September the smokehouses put on live music every evening and two festivals take over Allinge, but out of season kitchens close around 20:00 and there is no club scene on the island at any time of year.
Allinge Røgeri
Sverigesvej 5 in Allinge: smoked-fish buffet at 195 kr, eat as much as you like, with live music every evening in season. Open 10:00-21:00 from 22 May, to 22:00 from 12-25 July, then back to a 17:00 close from 6 September - a fair summary of how the island's year works.
Svaneke Bryghus
Organic, CO2-neutral brewery at Svanevang 10 with its restaurant on Svaneke Torv 5, open daily from 11:00; kitchen 12:00-16:00 and 17:00-20:30, plus Sunday brunch from 09:30. Book a table in summer.
Wonderfestiwall
Four days of music in mid-August at the north end of the island near Hammershus, with workshops, yoga, guided tours and a silent disco between sets. It sold out for 2026 well before the gates opened, so buy early.
Folkemødet
Denmark's political festival, held in Allinge in June - 17-19 June in 2027. Debates run all day and the town stays busy into the evening; island accommodation disappears months ahead of it.
Nordbornholms Røgeri
Kæmpestranden 2 in Allinge, on the water: restaurant open daily 12:00-21:00 with the kitchen closing at 20:00, and the fish shop 09:00-18:00. That 20:00 kitchen cut-off is the island norm, so do not plan on a late dinner.
