U Trojského zámku 3 in Troja. 330 Kč adults and 250 Kč children at the gate, 300/200 Kč online, 1,000 Kč for a family of two adults and four children, free under 3. In July and August a paper ticket after 5pm is 100 Kč. Over 400 species on a steep site — allow most of a day.

Run by Prague City Tourism. 250 Kč adults, 170 Kč children 6–15 and seniors, 500 Kč family; a combined ticket with the mirror maze next door is 300 Kč. 299 steps, or 150 Kč extra for the lift to the 51 m platform. Open 9:00–19:00 April to August, 10:00–18:00 in winter. The funicular is shut for track reconstruction — walk up from Újezd or take a tram to Pohořelec.

Kostelní 42 in Holešovice, Tuesday to Sunday 9:00–18:00, closed Monday. 330 Kč adults, 80 Kč children 6–15, 680 Kč family, free under 6. Sixteen permanent exhibitions over seven floors, including the hall of hanging aircraft and cars. Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before closing.

The digital planetarium sits inside Stromovka, run by Planetum. Dome shows through the day, most of them in Czech, so check the programme before committing. The park around it is the flattest traffic-free space in Prague and the obvious place to let small children run.

T3 trams from 1962, running daily roughly 8:30 to 18:00 every half hour between Královka and Zvonařka, past Prague Castle, Malá Strana, the National Theatre and Charles Square. About 31 minutes end to end, and it takes a normal PID ticket rather than a tour price.
