SPORT & SEASON
Hockey comes first here - Kometa fills its rink in a way the football never has - but from 2026/27 Brno has two clubs in the Czech top flight sharing one ground, plus a motor circuit that got its Grand Prix back.

HC Kometa Brno
The city's Extraliga ice hockey club and the ticket locals actually plan their week around. Home games are at the ice stadium on Kridlovicka, south-west of the old town; buy through the club's own ticket site rather than turning up on a big night.
FC Zbrojovka Brno
Back in the Chance Liga, the Czech top division, for 2026/27 after a season in the second-tier Narodni liga. Home games at the ShipEx Arena on Srbska, north-west of the centre.
SK Artis Brno
The city's second top-flight side in 2026/27, a club founded in 1924, and it plays its home games at the same ShipEx Arena as Zbrojovka - so Brno has two Chance Liga clubs and one stadium between them.
Grand Prix of Czechia at the Masaryk Circuit
MotoGP is back at the Brno circuit west of the city: the 2026 race ran 19-21 June and 2027 tickets are already on sale, with a discount for anyone who went in 2026. Children aged 14 and under get into the general admission areas free.
Draci Brno baseball
Brno's baseball club, which hosted the Champions League Europe final-four weekend in 2026 at the YD Baseball Arena. A summer season and cheap seats, which makes it the obvious thing to watch when the hockey is out of season.
