FIESTA SIDE
Split goes out on the street rather than in clubs: the palace lanes and the Riva fill first, Bačvice beach takes over after midnight, and for three days each July Ultra turns the whole city into a festival site.
Split's Riva waterfront promenade
Bačvice beach bars
The sandy bay a short walk east of the Riva is where Split actually stays out late. Caffe-Club Bačvice sits at Preradovićevo šetalište 2 in the crescent behind the beach, and the surrounding bars keep going well after the Old Town has gone quiet.
Fabrique Pub
At Trg Franje Tuđmana 3, a couple of minutes west of the palace walls, and listed by the city tourist board among Split's main night venues. It works as a bar rather than a club, which makes it a reliable first stop.
Central Club
On Trg Gaje Bulata 4, beside the Croatian National Theatre and a short walk north-west of the palace — one of the few proper clubs in the city centre rather than out by the beaches.
Boiler Club
At Marmontova 9, on the pedestrian street linking the Riva to Trg Gaje Bulata, so it is walkable from anywhere in the centre. The tourist board lists it among the city's clubs.
Ultra Europe
Three nights of electronic music at Park Mladeži, the stadium just outside the centre; the next edition is 9–11 July 2027. If you are in Split that week, book a bed months ahead and expect the entire city to run on festival hours.
