Hvar Town's night follows a fixed order — sunset at a beach bar west of the harbour, drinks on the riva, then a boat out to the Pakleni Islands — and it effectively only exists from late spring to early autumn.
Hula Hula Hvar
A seafront bar at Petričevo šetalište 10, along the shore path west of Hvar Town, open 09:00–22:00. Sunbeds and food by day, live music and a crowd on the rocks as the sun goes down; it is the default sunset stop.
Carpe Diem
The bar on the Hvar Town riva, running since 1998 and still setting the tempo along the harbour front in the evening. It is the town half of the operation — the beach club of the same name is a separate place out on the islands opposite.
Carpe Diem Beach, Stipanska
The beach club on Stipanska in the Pakleni Islands, open 12:00–24:00, with the restaurant serving until 19:00, sushi until 22:00 and pizza until 23:00 before the night programme takes over. You reach it only by boat from Hvar Town, so check the last crossing back before you settle in.
Kiva Bar
A narrow, loud bar on Fabrika, the lane running back from the harbour in Hvar Town. It is small enough that the crowd ends up in the street, which is the point; it fills after the riva bars have thinned out.
Falko Beach Bar
A low-key bar in the pine shade past Majerovica, on the coast path west out of town. No dress code and no bass — it is the early-evening opposite of the riva, and it closes long before anything else opens.
