La U play at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos in Ñuñoa, which is both the country's main stadium and a preserved dictatorship-era detention site. Memberships and ticketing run through the club's own channels.

Racecourse at Av. Blanco Encalada 2540 that has been running since the 19th century and stages El Ensayo, the continent's oldest classic. Race programmes are published on its site, and the grandstand is worth the trip even on a quiet card.

Ski area about 40 km east of the city up a switchback road, publishing live piste and lift counts through the season and selling day tickets and rentals online. Skiing as a day trip from a capital-city hotel is not something most capitals offer.
