La Plantation
Pepper farm open daily 9am to 6pm, last visit 4pm, with free entry, guided walks and tastings. The Spice Bar starts pouring around 5pm.
Green Cathedral Kayak Loop
A still water loop through flooded trees about 5km north of town, roughly 90 minutes of paddling. Kayaks rent from around $3 an hour.
Kampot Salt Fields
Flat evaporation pans east of town, worked through the dry season and free to walk past. Go on a bicycle, and not on a Sunday when they empty.
Epic Arts Cafe
Cafe near the old market run as a disability inclusive workplace, open 7am to 6pm daily, with a craft shop upstairs. Takings fund the charity.
Phnom Chhnork Cave Temple
A brick shrine from the Funan period standing inside a limestone cave, up a long flight of steps. Local children guide for a small tip.
