The 21 km full-day run, roughly 5 hours, almost entirely through wooded valley past rocks and castles, with two navigable dams. €31–44 per person; minimum age 5 subject to water level. It runs to early October and can be suspended in drought — check the navigability page the morning you go.

Belgium's most important crag, between Waulsort and Anseremme: seven main and nine secondary massifs up to 120 m, with around 600 routes from grade 2 to 8c. The Club Alpin Belge is guardian of the massif and access needs its authorisation, so arrange it before you arrive with a rope.

The RAVeL towpath from Dinant to Namur is 28 km, flat, car-free and family-graded — mostly smooth surface, with 3 km of dolomite near Houx lock and some cobbles between Anhée and Namur. Trains take bikes back, which makes it a one-way day.

An abandoned quarry 60 m above the Meuse turned into an activity park: ziplines and death-ride cables, via-ferrata-style climbing routes, caving, paintball and laser game, all supervised by qualified instructors. The Kids Challenge course is built for children from 8.

Dinant's football is amateur, played in the Namur provincial divisions; there is no professional side and no stadium worth travelling for. The nearest Pro League club is Royal Charleroi Sporting Club at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi, Boulevard Zoé Drion 131, about an hour away by road.
