Belgium's oldest club, matriculation number 1, playing in the Pro League at the Bosuil in Deurne, north-east of the centre. Tickets go through the club's own site; the Bosuil is a bus or tram ride out, not a walk from the station.

The city's other club, playing at Atletenstraat 80 in Kiel, south of the centre — the 1920 Olympic stadium, rebuilt but on the same site. Cheaper and rowdier than the Bosuil, and easy to reach on the pre-metro.

The city's basketball club, playing BNXT League and Basketball Champions League games at the Lotto Arena beside the Sportpaleis in Merksem. They took the treble — cup, league and play-off title — in 2025-26.

Antwerp's mass-participation race weekend, 25–26 April 2026. The 10 Miles (16.1 km) runs on the Sunday in ten waves from 10:30, through the Kennedy Tunnel and the centre; a 5 Miles and a 1.6 km Kids Mile run on the Saturday.

Antwerpen hosts a round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup on the left bank each December — 19 December 2026 in the current calendar. Sand, river wind and a very large beer tent; dress for December on an estuary.
